2nd 144 MHz Backpackers Contest 2015.

Thirty-three stations entered this contest which, as the first session, is a considerable increase on previous years. There are two sections to this contest, the 3W Backpackers (3B) & 10W Hilltoppers (10H) & this is the second of five sessions. Conditions for most of the UK were described as being flat.

The best DX during the contest was worked by section 10H winner M0VXX/P to DF1JC at a distance of 682km.

The Backpackers Trophy will be awarded to the leading station is section 3B with the best three normalised scores out of the five sessions.

  • Winner, Section 10H: Tristan, M0VXX/P

  • Leading Intermediate Licensee, Section 10H: Phillip, 2E0NVS/P
