432 MHz Trophy Contest 2014

A slight increase in entry level over previous years making 2014 the highest level on record. QSO numbers were also up on previous years. Some mixed reports on conditions from average to poor and the weather was good for the majority of portable stations.
Just one casualty this year (although one too many!) when South Birmingham RS had a PA failure. I also thought Gordon G3WJG deserves a mention for making it on the band for the first time in 39 years!

The 1951 Council Cup for the overall winner is retained by The Parallel Lines Contest Group G8P operated by EI7FJ, G0HFX, G4CLA & G4IRX. Runner-Up in the Open section is the Five Bells Group, G5B. Winner of the Single Operator Fixed section is Roger Piper G3MEH and the runner-up is Richard Baker GD8EXI.
