RSGB Contest Results May UHF 2014
v4.145 by G4CLA

May 432 MHz to 248 GHz Contest 2014

A slight increase in entry level over previous years making 2014 the highest level on record. QSO numbers were also up on previous years.

2014 saw a drop in entries from previous years but some entrants were reporting a reasonable level of UK activity for the first few hours. Conditions were generally average on the first day but poor on Sunday.
Colchester RA take the top place by a large margin in the Open section, with operation on 6 bands, winning 5 of them & were the only entry to complete QSO’s on 24 GHz. South Birmingham RS are second place in the Open section. In the Single Operator Fixed section, Neil Underwood G4LDR is the overall winner with Neil Whiting G4BRK in second place.

Congratulations go to all band & overall certificate winners. Good luck for the next big UHF event in October.
