AFS Super League 2015-16

Bristol Contest Group managed to win the top position again in the sixth AFS Super League. They achieved the maximum points in four of the six contributing contests, beating Grimsby ARS, who move up into second place. Camb-Hams went down to third position, and Pembrokeshire CG entered all six contests to achieve a creditable fourth place.

Another win for Bristol CG, and they again take the Hadley Wood Contest Group Trophy. Grimsby ARS have been moving steadily up the table over the years, and are clearly challenging for the top spot. Of course, Camb-Hams are unlikely to rest on their laurels, so we can expect an interesting battle in the 2016-17 season.

There was another increase in the number of groups winning an "Honourable Mention" certificate. This requires entering all six AFS contests, and finishing in the top three quarters of each contest's table. This was achieved by Pembrokeshire CG, Tall Trees CG, Spalding & DARS, Travelling Wave CG (Marches), Norfolk ARC, Sheffield & DWS and Newbury & DARS.

Thanks to all for participating, and congratulations to all award winners. We hope to see everyone again for the first AFS contest later this year, in the 2016-17 Super League season -- 16th October on 50 MHz.
