Christmas Cumulatives 2013

After last year’s record entry level, numbers were slightly down this year in the Single Operator Fixed section, although there were more entries in the Open section.   Activity was greatest in the final two days of the contest.

Ann and Mike Stevens, operating as G8NVI, were overall winners in the Open section for the third year running.   David and Pete Millard, operating as G8NEY, were runners-up.

Overall winner in the Single Operator Fixed section was Dave Edwards, G7RAU.   Tony Pugh, GW8ASD, was runner-up for the second year running.

Conditions were generally reported as poor, although things appeared better on the last day.   It was a close fight at the top of each section.   Bandleader in the Open section was G8NVI, winning three out of the four sessions.   G7RAU was bandleader in the SF section, winning two out of the four sessions.

Bandleader for the Open section was G8NVI, winning three out of the four sessions.   G7RAU was bandleader in the SF section, winning all four sessions.

Conditions were generally poor, but there was some sporadic E late on 27th.   This just caused noise from the east for most, but it did enable SP3RNZ to be worked by G4NOK (North Wakefield Radio Club), operated by Conrad Farlow, G0RUZ.

In a close fight at the top, bandleader in the Open section was G8NEY, winning two of the four sessions.    G4NOK was bandleader in the SF section, winning all four sessions with a single band entry.
