This section is for portable stations and multi-operator fixed stations.
6 hours Single Op Fixed
(6S)
Rules as per section "SF" except stations may only operate for a maximum of 6 hours. Entrants may choose between any continuous 6 hour period in which to operate (e.g. 1500-2100, or 1917-0117) or alternatively split the 6 hour period into two segments separated by at least 2 hours off time.

Operation after this 6 hour window is allowed but will not count for points. All contacts must be included in the log.

Serial numbers must start at 001 for this 6 hour period, and you cannot enter both this section and the full contest.

In multi-band contests the same single 6 hour period must be used on all bands.
6 hours others
(6O)

Special Rules for this Contest

This contest runs concurrently with all or part of an IARU co-ordinated contest. UK&CD entrants who make all their QSOs using SSB, CW or FM will be submitted to the IARU event unless you specifically request otherwise.

On 4m and 6m MGM modes may also be used (except in CW only contests) provided the entrant meets the requirements of the IARU rules, see rule is 5.3.7 on page 60 at http://www.iaru-r1.org/index.php/downloads/Documents/VHF/VHF-managers-Handbook-7.0/.

Awards for this Contest
A certificate will be awarded each year to the station achieving the best overall score in the three RSGB VHF CW contests -- 4m, 6m and 2m
