    Header Descriptions.

    • START-OF-LOG: version-number
      Must be the first line of the log submission. The current version-number is 2.0.


    • END-OF-LOG:
      Must be the last line of the log submission.

    • CALLSIGN: callsign
      The callsign used during the contest.


    • CATEGORY: operator-category [mode-category] [power-category]
      For HF contests the operator-category must be one of the following:
      SINGLE-OP, MULTI-OP, SWL, or CHECKLOG.
      The mode-category must be CW, SSB or MIXED and applies only to RSGB-IOTA.
      In the RSGB-80M-CC contests the mode-category must be CW, SSB or DATA and
      the power-category must be LOW or QRP.

    • CATEGORY-ASSISTED: [assisted-status]
      The value or assisted-status must be ASSISTED or NON-ASSISTED. This tag applies only to RSGB-IOTA.


    • CATEGORY-DXPEDITION: [dxpedition-status]
      The value dxpedition-status must be DXPEDITION or NON-DXPEDITION. This tag applies only to RSGB-IOTA.


    • CATEGORY-OVERLAY: [category-overlay...]
      The category overlay of the log submission as follows:
      (RSGB-NFD, RSGB-21/28-SSB, RSGB-21/28-CW) - OPEN, RESTRICTED, or QRP.
      (RSGB-COMMONWEALTH) - OPEN, RESTRICTED, or HQ.
      (RSGB-SSB-FD) - OPEN or RESTRICTED.
      (RSGB-LOW-POWER) - 10W FIXED, 10W PORTABLE, 3W FIXED or 3W PORTABLE.


    • CATEGORY-TIME: time-category
      The time category is only applicable to the RSGB IOTA Contest and must be either 12-HOURS or 24-HOURS.

    • CLAIMED-SCORE: n
      The claimed-score of the log submission, in integer form such as 1217315 or 19113 or 12.


    • CLUB: text
      Name of the radio club with which the score should be aggregated. This tag is required for RSGB-AFS-CW, RSGB-AFS-SSB and RSGB-80M-CC. It is also required for RSGB-CLUB-CALLS unless CLUB-OVERLAY is NONE.


    • CLUB-OVERLAY: text
      This tag is only applicable to the RSGB-CLUB-CALLS contest and must be specified as CLUB STATION, MEMBER or NONE.


    • CONTEST: contest-name
      The contest-name must be one of the following: RSGB-AFS-CW, RSGB-AFS-SSB, RSGB-160, RSGB-COMMONWEALTH, RSGB-80M-CC, RSGB-80M-SPRINT,RSGB-ROPOCO, RSGB-NFD, RSGB-LOW-POWER, RSGB-SSB-FD, RSGB-21/28, RSGB-CLUB-CALLS


    • CREATED-BY: text
      Name and version of the logging program used to create the Cabrillo file.

    • IOTA-ISLAND-NAME: text
      This tag is only applicable to the RSGB-IOTA contest and should be speficied by island stations to indicate the name of the island they operated from (not the IOTA reference number
      ).

    • NAME: text

    • ADDRESS: text
      Name and address.


    • OPERATORS: callsign1 [callsign2 callsign3...]
      A space-delimited list of operator callsign(s). You may also list the callsign of the host station by placing an "@" caracter in front of the callsign within the operator list, such as OPERATORS: @G4MRS


    • SOAPBOX: text
      Soapbox comments. Please include information about antennas and equipment used.


    • QSO: qso-data

    Header Explanation.

    • freq:
      Integer frequency in kHz; if freq not known then 28000, 21000, 14000, 7000, 3500, 1800

    • mo:
      CW, PH, RY or PS

    • date:
      UTC date in yyyy-mm-dd form

    • time:
      UTC time in nnnn form

    • call:
      callsign

    • rst:
      RST

    • t:
      transmitter id 0 or 1 (used in the RSGB-IOTA multi-op category)

    • nr:
      Serial number

    • ex1:
      Postcode in Ropoco

    • ex2:
      Two-letter district code in 1.8 and 21/28 contests; 'HQ' for headquarters stations in Commonwealth contest; IOTA reference number in RSGB-IOTA, of form aa-nnn for island stations; Power in Low Power contest, two or three characters as received; 'MEMBER', 'CLUB' or 'NONE' in Club Calls Contest. Filled with hyphens if no other info. sent, e.g. '------' for non-island stations in RSGB-IOTA
