SOAPBOX: G0ADHVery poor conditions for this one G0GDU Condx very noisy and not many G stations heard G0GFQ Dismal band conditions with fluttering signals, I hope it gets better! G0KYA Conditions not good - only heard a few UK stations G0OKF Waste of my time and power consumption. Had I known better I could have watched a tape of Noddy & Bigears which would have generated as much excitement. No doubt plenty of others would have told you the conditions were worse than abysmal. G0PPQ First time on datamodes G1MHU First time for a data contest entry G3HRH Dreadful conditions for inter G. Mainland EU stations were good but few of them G3LHJ Crazy condx agn, the Mid Distance stations from here were weak, had echo and not resolveable on RTTY , better on PSK31, guess it can only get better. G3NFB Dismal inter-G propagation again tonight G3ORY I expect to lose a lot of points on checking given the propagation condition. A night for lots of repeats! G3RHH Very poor conditions for inter-G working. G3RRL Terrible conditions here with sgnals in and out and a lack of G stations. G3TKF What a struggle .. mainly PSK31 but a few RTTY qsos G3TLH Conditions poor for G working especially with QRP G3VCA Roll on the shorter skip & I look forward to the CW ... I understand that. G3VIP Another dead loss vry QSB on all sigs G3VQO It seems that I picked a bad night to try to learn to "run". I spent an hour CQing on PSK31 to achieve three QSOs, and thirty minutes on RTTY to achieve nothing!!. G3XSV Conditions (multipath ?) seemed to affect RTTY decoding. G3YHV PSK has the edge over RTTY in these very poor conditions G4DBW Conditions - No Comment ! G4EBK Conditions poor from the start again and didnt improve. G4ELZ Running 8Watts QRP and a struggle G4FKA Not sure if that was a contest or a re-run of the famous massacre! Very little short skip; QSB and QRN throughout; what appeared to be minor incidents of jamming; and one guy who called pretending to have a USA callsign! Some of those numbers were ESP mode so lots of errors I suspect. At least the EU stations got some decent scores! G4NKT This is not fun G4OGB Condx not improved yet. G4RCG First time ever on a Data contest very hard to do bit like watching paint dry. Where were all the G stations?? G4WGE One word description - CRAP! G6FOP Poor conditions again G7VRK Very poor conditions again this week GM0ELP G stns were workable but vy weak M0CES Worked locally only and drank tea for 1 1/2 hours, hope to do better at cw M0ERA I hope the conditions don't get any worse than that. M0MDF Condx still weren't too good M0SPC Very hard work, things can only get better, I hope ! M3CVN Well, that was boring!!! Few people hrd but none heard me! Gave up on RTTY for first 45min only a few on PSK. Went back to RTTY and it was still the same! So, went down to watch footy!! Footy was boring so tried again with a little more luck! Maby the CC's shud start in march? MM0RKT Sounded like all the English the signals were coming via the Pole! |
