Activity levels from the UK were down. There was
some pretty awful sending and very hesitant operating.
Somehow we need to spread the word and encourage more
participation. However our European neighbours helped
a great deal. My thanks to everyone for the QSOs.
My first time trying a CW Sprint. Slowly got to enjoy it.
I will get correct (i.e. different) callsign exchange placing next time.
Speeds not excessive even for me, just need to improve my ears.
CU all next year
This contest was time well spent
Nice steady session a lot of regulars missing so
the numbers were down. Really like these sprints now
looking forward to next years.
First time in a CW Sprint so a bit scary. Many thanks to all who were patient. I
was a little hesitant at times. To make matters worse I am
trying to learn to use a blasted paddle key!!
Hard work tonight. Band was noisy and signals not too strong. Only a couple of
stations came back to my QRP CQs. A quarter of my contacts were outside the UK!
Had it my head it was tomorrow night and only remembered in time to do the last
Not the most hectic of 90 minutes but a good challenge in QRP nonetheless!
good start but slow going mid way through contest
Always a real pleasure to be active in these small contests... 73 to all
Funny contest, but I have to practice my CW skils :-(
Last event this year, activity not very high but all in all an enjoyable event.

The CW Sprint format continues to receive mixed support and it splits
contesters into the “love it” or “hate it” camps. However, this series is well
supported with plenty of room for additional participants. What is interesting
is the participation from Europe is gradually increasing which is very useful as
the propagation often changes mid event.
With these being the final results, they confirm the win by the De Montfort
University ARS. Congratulation for their fine effort in securing the trophy for
TX VFO-BU-FD-PA (Johnson Viking Ranger) 5w out
RX SSSH29 (Siemens E311b)
AER Guywire Pyramid fed via open-wire line and remote
controlled balanced PI coupler.
KEY Vibroplex "Anniversary"
Jablonsky FM32 sideswiper
My first participation in this competition. Very interesting.
I think it is 20.00 GMT too early for contacts from E7 to G (GW, GM, PA ....)
but "it is important to participate ..." (and win time to time, of course).
Thanks to everyone for the QSO's and points and see you next year.
Quite busy. Lots of continentals taking part.
Ft1000 - 10w wid w3dzz @ 28ft agl

Tried QRP for a change.
Hard work but it paid off
Rather less activity than usual
Bit noisy from time to time
Not so many on tonight

Good conditions tonight all over G
Lot of regular calls in the log but some missing
Activity down this week good job we were well supported by Europeans again!
Plenty activity and everyone sticks to rules! An enjoyable contest
Part-time effort. Started late. Then had a meal break to boot! Didn't really
make good use of the 90 minutes available on this occasion.
Some deliberate QRM
It was club night so planned not to be on but the
xyl wanted to come back early so managed a few
qsos. Conditions seemed excellent.
