Activity levels from the UK were down. There was
some pretty awful sending and very hesitant operating.
Somehow we need to spread the word and encourage more
participation. However our European neighbours helped
a great deal. My thanks to everyone for the QSOs.

G4HSO
My first time trying a CW Sprint. Slowly got to enjoy it.
I will get correct (i.e. different) callsign exchange placing next time.
Speeds not excessive even for me, just need to improve my ears.

G4OGB
CU all next year

G4OSB
This contest was time well spent

G4RCG
Nice steady session a lot of regulars missing so
the numbers were down. Really like these sprints now
looking forward to next years.

G7DDN
First time in a CW Sprint so a bit scary. Many thanks to all who were patient. I was a little hesitant at times. To make matters worse I am
trying to learn to use a blasted paddle key!!

GM3POI
Poor Condx

GM3YEH
Hard work tonight. Band was noisy and signals not too strong. Only a couple of stations came back to my QRP CQs. A quarter of my contacts were outside the UK!

GW0ETF
Had it my head it was tomorrow night and only remembered in time to do the last half...

M0NQN
Not the most hectic of 90 minutes but a good challenge in QRP nonetheless!

MW0RZC
good start but slow going mid way through contest

ON3ND
Always a real pleasure to be active in these small contests... 73 to all entrants...

PA0CMU
Funny contest, but I have to practice my CW skils :-(

PA0MIR
Last event this year, activity not very high but all in all an enjoyable event.

The CW Sprint format continues to receive mixed support and it splits contesters into the “love it” or “hate it” camps. However, this series is well supported with plenty of room for additional participants. What is interesting is the participation from Europe is gradually increasing which is very useful as the propagation often changes mid event.

With these being the final results, they confirm the win by the De Montfort University ARS. Congratulation for their fine effort in securing the trophy for another year.

My first participation in this competition. Very interesting.
I think it is 20.00 GMT too early for contacts from E7 to G (GW, GM, PA ....)
but "it is important to participate ..." (and win time to time, of course).
Thanks to everyone for the QSO's and points and see you next year.

G0FYX
