2E0NKM
My first ever contest

2E0RCV
Harder work than I imagined!

2E0XIS
good fun some nice GM openings

2W0XTP
My first contest very difficult with 50w. Will definitely take part in another. Software used was SD simple and easy to use

G0AAA
Good to see that activity was as high as ever.......unfortunately so was the noise level!

G0ADH
As many of you already know - I am now a Laryngectomee so thank you all very much for your patience.

G0AJJ
Lost 30 mins due to local static. Not the best of conditions but had fun!

G0DVJ
Nice session - good long skip towards the end.

G0FPU
FIRST TIME RSGB-80M-CC.VERY ENJOYABLEFRIENDLY CONTEST

G0FYX
Hard going at times. Condx variable. SD logging program worked well.

G0GDU
HIGH NOISE LEVELS FROM NEARBY HV POWER LINES DURING FIRST 2 HOURS - FOUND IT DIFFICULT TO HOLD A RUN LESS G STATIONS AS SKIP LENGTHENED AND THOSE WORKED VERY WEAK LAST 40 MINUTES DIRE WHEN WORKED MAINLY CONTINENTALS

G0GFQ
Noisy again

G0ICJ
SD worked very well again. Band very noisy and too many signals splattering due to over driving or too
much speech compression making signals very wide!

G0KYS
The usual struggle to find a frequency but managed to by the last hour so was able to have some fun actually running rather than S&P.  Skip very long in the last half hour

G0LHZ
Technical Problems delayed my start!!!!!!

G0MLY
Busy busy busy - until sunset and then nothing but long skip.  My first time in this contest. I was warned it would be busy- and it was!

G0MTN
No run freq at start, QRM, and a power cut.

G0OKF
Usual hard work with my antenna. Super Duper lives up to its name again.

G0RXA
First time for a couple of years taking part in this one but enjoyed it mostly. Tough going.

G0TZZ
God knows how people get such high scores???

G0UKN
V. noisy

G0VDZ
Going well till I lost the linear. Changed that lost my freq then lost the other linear. Last hour deadly quiet

G0VGS
Very enjoyable contest.  More of the same please :)

G0VJG
had great time thanks to rsgb and dartford scouts for loan of their qth

G0WHO
Particularly noisy with short skip from all over Europe creating intense interference

G1BHR
Logged with SD

G2AA
hard work but fun as always seems us contesters were not vy popular.
At least was not the only one told to QSY !

G2BKZ
As usual finding a place to park and stay there was difficult.

G2DX
ICOM 7400
Butternut HF9V Antenna

G3JJZ
RIG - IC756 PRO III 100 Watts. ANTENNAS - 85' LW. My worst SSB AFS ever!!!  Unbelievable QRM most of the time. Whenever I found a slot to call in I was elbowed out after a short time. Inter-G skip went all to early. EU stns didn't appear vy strong either.

G3KIP
good lively amount of activity.

G3LDI
Another complaint about occupancy this time from stations operating

G3LHJ
Terrible condx down here in the SW - I just gave up. beter luck next year

G3LIK
Too many stations using too much power creating lots of QRM and splatter consider with so many stations working in this contest the power should be restricted to 100W I am not alone in this thinking.
Great to have SD for logging

G3LRS
Great fun used SD logging programme

G3LUW
Very noisy throughout. SD WAS GREAT AS USUAL

G3MXH
CONDX GOOD TO UK EARLY IN THE CONTEST AND GOOD INTO EUROPE TOWARDS THE END.

G3NDJ
Sd is fine to use and condx good

G3OFA
Big signals S meter read at least S9 +20 over most of band

G3OLB
Last hour was horrible!

G3PHO
My poor antenna doesnt lend itself to run operating so I did S&P for much of the contest with
occasional runs when I could find a clear slot... almost impossible even in a 1.8kHz bandwidth. Predictably the band dropped out for UK in the last hour except for the booming signal of GM3POI!

G3RXQ
A very enjoyable contest with less QRM than usual. The last hour was tedious with little inter-G.

G3SJX
Lots of activity as usual

G3SNU
What a struggle!-sd a joy to use as always

G3SVD
Another enjoyable RSGB contest. Condx were much better than I had expected from comments  on the various reflectors certainly until the last hour when the skip went long and all the Gs  disappeared.

G3SVL
Great inter-G condx until the last 20 minutes when the band went long skip.

G3TBK
Condx great for first 2 hours then dire last hour nearly all continental stations!

G3TXF
Funny how the four-hour AFS seems so long compared to those nice and ultra compact ninety-minute 80m CCs! Made almost 100 QSOs less than last year.  Finding and maintaining a clear frequency is vital, but exceedingly difficult to do, especially when inter-UK conditions are poor!

G3UFY
RIG - FT1000MP + Ranger 811H. ANTENNAS - Dipole up 34ft

G3UJE
Thank you for a most enjoyable contest.

G3VAO
Quit after 2 hours - too many WIDE signals in the restricted area of 150kHz

G3VCA
1 1/2 hour input only work then called. icom756pro2wave delta loop

G3VIP
FT301S + PA 100W - 40M LW - Homebrew logger. Usual wall of noise couldn't find clear freq to call CQ

G3VPW
Usual problems, too many people fixed on too few frquencies.

G3VYI
Not much space do we need a QSY rule? QSY every 50 QSOs? That would make it fairer for the little guys!

G3WQK
Fab contest lots of noise but good fun all the same!

G3WRR
The SSB leg of AFS is not my favourite event - particularly with my micro antenna! Skip very long in the last hour....10 of the last 12 QSOs were GMs.

G3XYF
Very busy. Why do operators say "Roger" when they mean "Over" ?

G3YHM
This was the first contest for over 20 years. It was tough going and some equipment problems. I hope to be back next time.

G3YOA
Good contest used SD

G3YYZ
Very enjoyable

G3ZBU
S&P mode until the end when the band went very quiet!

G3ZGC
Rig IC7700 200w to 132 ft wire wrapped into 55 ft garden. Max heighth 40ft. I suffer from a high noise level. Hence mostly Search and Pounce. Conditions were generally ok.

G3ZRJ
Sorry couldn't do more but vy qrl with daughter visiting at short notice. Glad to give out a few points

G4BP
Pushed off frequency by the high power signals

G4BUO
Murphy struck with a 17-hour power cut before the contest, I was all set up to run low power from the generator, then power was restored 45 mins before the start which meant a mad scramble to put everything back onto mains. With 75 minutes of the contest remaining the power failed again so I had to get the generator back out and managed the last hour running 100w.

G4CLA
Couldn't get much of a run going with only 100W!

G4CWH
signals strong for three hours then faded out suddenly. I'm sure this didn't used to happen when I was a boy. There's not enough room for all of the people on!

G4CZB
Still the same very low dipole as for CW AFS pneumatic mast damaged by frost.  Skip lengenthed suddenly for me in the last hour.

G4DDX
Very busy and noisy so not easy to find a place to run. The band went out around 1700 but up came the GMs which helped the total. Way down on my CW score.

G4DFI
suggest altering the timing of the contest 1300-1700 Because of HA contest conditions became dificult

G4DQP
Found it difficult to compete against the high power operators. Overall the contest seemed more frantic
less consideration to others etc.

G4FAL
Sheffield ARC Team A. I was at Bramall Lane supporting Sheffield United for the majority of the contest. Thankfully we beat Middlesbrough 1 - 0

G4FNL
Hard going and lots of QRM. I was late arriving at my contest site and couldn't find a good run freq. Once
running condx seemed OK but I then suffered some deliberate QRM for a while. So a frustrating event for
me but I hope to be back next year.

G4GZB
Enjoyed the mayhem!

G4HHJ
I only managed limited operating with interuptions but great fun.

G4LDL
First time done this contest. Not too bad. Difficult to find space to run!

G4LDS
Had local S9 noise level

G4LMW
Only managed 30 or 40 minutes here and there, but fun while it lasted!

G4RCD
This contest is hard work for anyone running 100W or less. Very hard to get and hold on to a run frequency so lots of Searchung and Pouncing.....but still good fun if a little frustrating at times!

G4SJX
Interesting propagation

G4VUD
very odd conditions always shifting around loads of midlands stations having worked dozens in
a few minutes how do they do it??

G5KN
Hard work

G6UBM
tnx for points esp GM

G7SOZ
As headache inducing as normal :-S

G7TWC
OT2X on 3751 gave me jip as I was just below 3750. Lucky to grab this free frequency just after the start of the contest and held it using my barefoot FT100MP. Very please with this result - a personal best in AFS by far.

G8ALR
Lots of good flexible operators today. Used SD for logging AFTER the event! SD is not flexible enough for a single operator to use and error correction is difficult.

G8ATO
A lot of local QRM.

GM0ELP
Elecraft K3 Acom 1000 80m Doublet at 30ft Condx vy poor at start of contest. Got better as time went on. Got very noisy at 17 continental QRM. Thanks to all who worked me.

GM3POI
First QSO 1506z due to a power cut Not bad after that. Some HA Qs have area zones listed as per Gen Rules.

GM3VTY
as a fairly new gm this contest is hopeless from here. The first two hours are a waste of time from gm
to have any chance a later start is needed or reduce the contest to the last two hours

GM3WOJ
Only able to be QRV for the last 37 minutes of contest = 111 QSOs ! 73

GM3YEH
IC751A and a dipole at 25 feet.
Only managed on for part of the last hour and was surprised at how busy the band still was.

GM3ZBE
Horrendous qrm - I don't enjoy phone contests give me CW any day! I went for an hour's siesta at 1502z!

GM4BRN
Using new radio bought an hour before contest just about managed to figure it out by the 2 hour mark with 2 non-contest operators -thouroughly enjoyed it. When is the next one ???

GM4ZUK
Glad to be on - mains failure 2 hours before contest due to the dreadful weather. Thankfully mains back for 2pm. Very busy contest - hard going throughout.

GW0ETF
Heavy family QRM meant a sporadic part-time effort only. From what I heard conditions seemed quite good.

GW4BLE
Almost didn't make it - spent most of the morning repairing broken aerial!

GW4HBK
Very noisy monster qrm

M0AAA
Very hard going. Not as good as the CW leg. Out of band on last QSO have put zero points.

M0CNP
Could only spare a short session today as it is our 45th wedding anniversary and prudence seemed the
better part of valour!

M0GJH
Running an Intermediate course until 1700 !

M0SCG
A very enjoyable contest

M0XDF
Think this was my first AFS - wow!

M0XDX
Very busy but enjoyable.

M0XSM
Excellent logging programme

M1ADX
Hard work initially as I do not have enough attenuation on my rig. Persevered though and enjoyed the GM and MM later in the contest.

M1PTR
Spot of aerial trouble at the start so late getting going. Good fun as
always with mostly inter G until last half hour.

M3TBK
Weren't able to start putting aerial up until 2 o'clock so missed the start.  Ant Sloping vee dipole rig FT-100.

MM0CCC
Hard going with an antenna that appeared to have the characteristics of a dummy load.  Took an hour off came back on with 15 minutes to go and the propagation appeared to have gone long as could only hear a few DL's.

MM0GPZ
400w at Inv V at 38 feet. Struggled to get a clear run frequency at any time. Did find one and was working away nicely when a G3 decided to sit 1 Khz away and was splattering 20 db over 9. Thanks for that.
Enjoyable but just not able to challenge the well sited stations. See you next time.

MM0ROV
Struggled again during the first 2 hours. Gave up half way through but couldn't resist coming back.

MU0FAL
Was dissapointed not to hear M3s 2Es trying some CQs

MW0RZC
good contest

PA600MIR
Using my special call for 600 years city-rights in the City of Purmerend. Other special calls also will be aired this year. For award info see the www.qrz.com/pa600mir website. Did not do a lot of CQ-ing
which every time brought lots of non-UK stations.
