4m UKAC 2006 Results

The 4m UK activity contests take place on the fifth Tuesday in the month. This occurred in January, May, August & October.

Conditions in January produced some good strong signals throughout the UK & also to Denmark although for the other sessions conditions were flat. There also appears to be quite a high level of FM activity, one reason for this is probably due to the increasing amount of converted PMR equipment to be found on the band.

Twelve stations submitted logs and a total of 167 different calls were logged throughout the four sessions.

Bryn Llewellyn G4DEZ wins the Single Operator Fixed section with Roger Piper, G3MEH in second place. Both operators hold the same positions as last year.

Only two entries for the open section, the winner is Ron Price, GW4EVX/P with Les Allwood G3VQO/P in second place.
