Comments from the Logs:
2E0CVU/P
WET. Difficult conditions hidden under a fishing umbrella. Working from Barr Beacon North Birmingham.
G0BWC/P
Dry start, but the weather soon became very wet & windy. Activity well down on previous years
G0UTT/P
Wet, then very windy and then...wet again. Despite this heard some surprisingly good tropo and contacts on QRP. Thanks to all for the points.
G1ARU/P
Wet, cold and windy, activity good.
G3BPK/P
Not many stations heard. No Europeans again. Bit breezy. Only started to rain when we were dismantling the antenna!! Thanks to all who did take part. Tnx for the points. Here's to the next one -in the summer!
G3MEH
Poor conditions.
G3NYY/P
Weather condx atrocious! Continuous rain, wind and cold. Despite the weather, the tropo condx were actually not too bad - better than in last Tuesday's UKAC.
G3VQO/P
wet!!!
G4ALE/P
Very good activity ! flat condx. Condx seemed better near the end. Horrible wx wet windy !! A few ant problems- sorted!
G4ARI/P
Rain all day but plenty of stations active. The WX can only get better next time!
G4BEE/P
Not much DX but very busy. Very wet, cold & windy
G4MKR/P
slight drizzle at first but then heavier rain and strong winds. Got quite cold and was difficult packing the tent up in the wind.
G8HXE/P
A bit damp and windy ! Only got wet when walking back to the car though.
GD0TFG/P
Wet and windy from East. Fortunately sheltered from East
GW0RMX/P
Not as windy as session 1, but virtually zero visibility for whole 4 hours !
GW3ATZ/P
RAIN.!!! Wanted to walk to better location but wx too bad. Worked from car at poor location with wrong gear.
GW4RWR/P
Not enjoyable under the tarp - driving rain, cold. Not sure I want to do that again. Battery pack failed after 3hrs, despite being charged the previous day. So happy to get back to the car.
GW8ZRE/P
Freezing cold temp 49 degrees F which this had been C. Gale & continual rain finished early surrounded by mist. Only bright spot working IO97
GM4JOJ
mainly because thats the way aerial pointed!!!
M0REG/P
Wet, windy, mostly poor conditions. Hard going at times. Would appreciate some summer for the next session!
M0WAF/P
Poor - getting worse. More activity on a UKAC!
M1MHZ
There were some very loud stations!!!!
M5ABH/P
Very wet but tent held out ok. condx ok but not fantastic, seemed lot slow qsb on band.
