10GHz Trophy 2011

Good to see the number of logs received is back to the usual level after a substantial drop last year. Conditions were poor resulting in a lower than average amount of QSO's to be made. Weather conditions were windy & wet. Congratulations to winners, the Colchester Contest Group who retain the 10GHz Trophy & to John Wood, G4EAT as runner-up.

Comments from the logs:
G1EHF/P
Propagation reasonable to the North but not much heard from East. Very windy!!
G3CKR/P
First real outing on 10ghz for us. Conditions flat but everything worked OK. Seems like a good start but hard to judge .See you in October contest!
G3OHM/P
Very poor activity and conditions.
G3XDY
Limited time this year, QRV for just over 3 hrs.
G3Z
Some rain scatter enhanced some paths, but without rain cover it was quite tough going as the evening progressed. Activity very low compared to past years, especially in the 80's and 90's.
G4EAT
Tropo condx poor. QRV 4 hours total.
G4SJH/P
Windy and chilly with numerous technical issues.
GW3CWI/P
Breezy...
