2nd 432MHz Fixed Contest 1998

It is interesting to see how different attitudes and personalities come o98uyhver in contest entries. One log commented ‘Appalling – howling wind and driving rain’ while another station 50 miles away merely said ‘could have been better’. Most others lay somewhere between these two, and clearly everyone had to battle against the weather and radio conditions.

This time there are Section M entries, with the Martello Tower group heading the Dacorum club station. In Section S, GD4GNH is a clear winner ahead of G1KHX with G3RHH claiming the low power certificate. A warm welcome to Bram, PD0RUS with his first ever contest entry, and thanks to G4OIG for his checklog.
