Many thanks for check logs received from G3DR and GM6XX

Final FT4 Contest 2020 16 November 2020
This series quickly settled into a regular pattern and this continued right up to the final event.
It has had a European flavour throughout with good participation from across the channel and Paul, M0OWS, Paul MM0ZBH and Nick, G4FAL have provided valuable bonus points and multipliers by activating the HQ stations G6XX and G3DR. In all, overseas entries were received from 25 DXCCs.
Logs were constantly marred by duplicate and not-in-log QSOs, but this did not deter regular entrants, a number of whom appeared in all, or nearly all, 9 events. It was good to see new callsigns appearing in the tables each week and, even in this last event, four entrants confessed to this being their first FT4 contest.
And so, to the winners
In the UK 100W section, Steve, G0CKP using his contest call M1X was our Lewis Hamilton equivalent with win after win after win after win ... In the 8 of the 9 sessions he entered he was never beaten.
John, G4OTJ was a very creditable runner up just holding off a late challenge from Lionel, G5LP in third place.
The 10W UK category proved to be a perfect example of 'you need to be in it to win it'. Ian, G6TEQ needed all 9 sessions to prove his superiority over second place Martin G4ENZ, despite the latter recording 4 wins to Ian's two but missing four events. Richard G4KRW took the final podium place, having submitted a log for every event.
For those beyond our shores, the 100W section was dominated by German stations who took all three podium places. DD0VU was a comfortable winner but DK2OY stormed past DL7CX to take second place by winning the final event.
In the 10W non-UK category, the honours were divided between three countries. Sergei, YL3FW was the runaway winner with Joe, DL6ZBN the runner up and, in third place, Peter, OH2EUU.
Several changes have been made to the rules for next year including extending the bands and changing the exchange. Please be sure to study the amended rules when they are published with next year's contest calendar.
Finally, may I wish you all the compliments of the season and may you all stay safe and well.
Graham Coomber G0NBI
