RSGB Contest Results 432MHz UKAC 2022
v4.178 by G4CLA

Entry levels are slightly down in this year's 432MHz UK Activity Contest compared to 2021. The year started well with 255 entries, and 391 different stations appearing in the logs, levelling off to around 220 for most of the year with a dip in the last three months. 478 stations entered logs during the year representing 95 affiliated Clubs.

In the Local Clubs Section, Hereford are in first place for the fifth year in a row. Northampton RC are again in second place and have reduced the gap to Hereford from nearly 40,000 points last year down to just over 10,000 points this year. Parallel Lines CG have moved from seventh in 2021 to third place a further 11,000 points behind Northampton RC.

In the General Club Section, Northern Fells CG are in first place, repeating their success of 2021, with a very similar score to last year. 807 ARO are in second place with a much smaller team this year, but are still quite a way ahead of Harwell in third spot.

In the individual sections, Pete G4CLA is in first place in the Open section with Gordon GI6ATZ in second spot having moved up from third last year. Gordon was also the station who appeared most often in the ODX column during the year, 232 times in all! Conrad, PA5Y is in an excellent sixth place overall and is the highest placed non-UK entry.

John G3XDY is once again at the top of the Restricted Section with five session wins, just ahead of Jacques F1BHL, who is the leading non-UK entry and Ian GM3SEK who is the UK runner-up. James, 2E0OUT is once again the highest placed intermediate licensee

For the fifth year running the in the Low Power Section Steve, G1YBB is in first place with eight session wins, Chris G0WUS has moved up from seventh in 2021 to take second spot with two session wins.  Certificates also go to John 2E0JPO, who is the leading Intermediate Licensee, Gary M7EGD, who is the highest placed Foundation Licensee and to Tommy M7OMY who is the leading young operator.

Thank you to everyone who took part in this year's 432MHz activity contests and hope to see you all in 2023.

Pete G4CLA
