364 stations entered one or more logs for this year's 432MHz UK Activity Contest, representing 41 Local and 38 General Clubs. If you find your club listed in General Club table but all your members are located or operate within 80Km of your meeting place then you can move to compete in the Local Club Section next year by emailing afs.query@rsgbcc.org.
This year's Local Club winners, moving up from second place last year (in the disguise of Chesham & DARS) are the Northampton RC, with the highest score in all twelve events. Hereford ARS move up from third place in 2024 to are in second place this year.
In the General Club Section, the Parallel Lines CG moved up from the Local Section to challenge three-time winners the Northern Fells CG, who swept all twelve events last year. The year began strongly for the newcomers, who won the first three events. However, a subsequent drop in scores combined with a strong push from the incumbents saw them fall into second place. It wasn't until the November event that PLCG looked poised to regain the lead. Following a final effort in December, and with Storm Bram preventing some Northern Fells members from competing, PLCG successfully reclaimed the top spot. Congratulations to both teams for achieving such outstanding scores.
In the individual Open Section, Pete G4CLA finished in first place, followed by Keith G4ODA in second. Jacky, F1MKG, secured an impressive eighth place overall as the highest-placed non-UK entry.
The Restricted Section remained highly competitive. John G3XDY took first place, while Jon GM4JTJ moved up from fifth last year to finish second. Mark EI3KD was the highest-placed non-UK station, finishing 14th overall.
In the Low Power Section, Steve G1YBB secured first place again with maximum points in eight sessions, followed by David G4ASR in second. Jelke PA0FEI was the highest-placed non-UK entry in this category.
A special commendation is in order for all the Intermediate and Foundation class winners:
Thank you to everyone who participated in this year's 432MHz activity contests. We look forward to seeing you all in 2026.
