432 MHz FM 1997

Conditions and entries were well down on last year.  Novice
Stations were conspicuous by their absence.  Was this down to
the timing of the event?  Were there any other reasons that
the VHFCC should know about?

Once again the event was enjoyed by all these that took part
even though things were very quiet.

Congratulations to Geoff - GW1ATZ, one of the events Stalwarts
who easily won with a large margin, and to G4MGR who stayed at
home this year to lead the single op fixed table.
