A mixture of feelings about this contest due to the big aurora. Seems a north/south divide in feelings, due to geographical "advantage" for making some Au qso's during the event. Well done to G4SIV/P for working SM2!! I received 2 complaints regarding serial numbers during aurora contacts, to clear this up you MUST give a serial number even if you do not receive one back and you must note why you haven't a serial from them in the log or the points are lost. Congratulations to G8LNC/P, GW7ORR/P, G3MEH, PE1EWR and the runners up in each section. Also well done to 2E1GUA for the novice section, I saw other novices in people's logs with respectable serial numbers, come on novices, please put an entry in and give GUA-James some competition!
Logging standards varied in this contest, 7 perfect logs to a couple losing half their score due to copying information down wrong…. If you are not sure about the details then ask again….
