Propagation across the North Sea seems to have been quite favourable for this event. This helped our stalwart overseas entrant Frank PE1EWR take the runner up place to Reg G8VHI, who amassed a fine leading score from his Midlands location.
Although the event was open to multi operator entrants, this time there were no entries outside of the SF category. Overall support for this event was again reduced this year, and as a consequence it will be discontinued as part of a rationalisation of the calendar for 2002. Many thanks to this and previous year's entrants for their support. A new series of monthly 432 MHz Cumulative contests will commence in January 2002.
