70MHz UKAC 2005

This contest takes place whenever there is a fifth Tuesday in the month. In 2005, this happened in March, May, August and November.

Nine different stations submitted logs during the year, which was down on the 2004 entry level (the first year the contest was run).

Conditions were flat in all sessions, with no one breaking the 500km mark.

The Single Operator Fixed section was won by Bryn Llewellyn G4DEZ, with 2004 winner Roger Piper G3MEH in second place.

Just two stations entered the open section. Ron Price GW4EVX/P was the clear winner, with Clive O'Hennessy GM4VVX/P finding it tough going up in IO88.

The Contest Committee would like to apologise for the long delay in publishing these results. This has occurred for various reasons, and the committee is taking measures to ensure such a delay doesn't happen again.
