VHF Championship of 2005

The top of the Open section was comparatively close this year with
only 13% separating the top two entrants. The top of the Single
Operator and QRP section were more clear-cut with more than 50%
separating the leading contestants.

39 stations out of a total of 173 participants in the Championship
contests entered 3 or more of the events. These stations are listed in
the results table.

Congratulations to the Colchester Contest Group of Colchester RA for
winning the Open section this year, pushing last year's winners, the
Five Bells Contest Group, into second place.

Congratulations to Bryn Llewellyn, G4DEZ for winning the Single
Operator, Fixed Station section. Roger Piper, G3MEH is the runner-up
this year.

Top honours in the Single Operator QRP section this year goes to Dave
Hook, M5ADF with Graham Coyne, G3YJR, in second place.

The Leading Intermediate Station award in the Single Operator section
goes to Pete Millard, 2E0NEY.

The Leading Intermediate Station award in the Single Operator QRP
section goes to James Beatwell, 2E1GUA.

The Leading Foundation Station award in both Single Operator sections
goes to Bob Treacher, M3RCV.
