1.3 GHz / 2.3 GHz Trophies 2005 Results

Once again it was the 13cm contest where nails were to be bitten, with another close result between M1CRO/P, G5B & G3XDY, although margins were a little less tight than they were last year. Log accuracy was very high on both bands and after thorough checking, the Colchester Contest Group retain the G6ZR Trophy. Once again they also take the VHF Contest Committee Cup for winning the 23cm contest. Congratulations also go to John Quarmby, G3XDY & Neil Underwood, G4LDR who were winner and runner-up in the Single Operator Fixed Station section on each band, and to the Warrington Contest Group & the Five Bells Group who were runners-up on 23cm and 13cm respectively in the Open Sections.
