Entry level was the same as last year with 28 logs received including 1 checklog, which revealed that a total of 278 different stations were active. Comments from the logs:
G0EHV/P
WX fine but a little windy. Periods of fair to good propagation but long period of little activity from 1700 - 1800.
G0JJG
Low activity and rather quiet.
G0VOK
Band was pretty quiet but I did manage to work a French station in IN99. Still enjoyed the challenge.
G0VZV/P
Dry, windy.
G1KHX
average, hard going here.
G3IZD/P
started OK but after 2 hrs propagation worsened markedly to what must be the worst 2 m condx I have known in over 55 yrs of amateur radio.
G3WIR/P
Stuck in mud getting to site but bright sunshine all afternoon little propagation.
G3YJR
Nice to hear all the portable stations on.
G4DEZ
Poor conditions and very hard work with just 20 watts. Still managed 10 countries so can't really complain.
G4SIV
Average only. Hard going, but hospitality great - as ever! Thanks.
G4XZL/P
Flat conditions, low activity in south, hard going.
G4ZAP/P
More QSOs but a lot less points than last year. I guess conditions were a little enhanced in 2007.
G6CSY
Glad to give a few points away. Running 5W and 9-ele on a dropped-down mast!
G8HGN
Pretty flat not a lot from the east, French contest helped.
G8LZE
Could only do first three hours but don't think it would have made too much difference.
GW4RWR
Low activity or is it just my valley QTH?
GW8ZRE/P
Warm n sunny for a change after 3hours new QSOS nil. Only the sheep to talk to! Only one GM no GI/GD/EI.
M0DSZ
Very poor propagation here.
M3XLG/P
Not to good in rainy Yorkshire left and went home early waste of time. Big antenna too low due to wind as well.
