RSGB Contest Results HF Championship 2023
v4.145 by G4CLA

HF Championship 2023

This year's table contains 531 callsigns, comfortably exceeding 2021's all-time record of 502.  However, nearly half the participants only entered one event in the series so plenty of scope for higher scores next year.

Many congratulations go to Justin, G4TSH, who put in a barnstorming performance to lift the G2QT Cup for the first time with a winning margin of more than 20%.  Justin's average normalised score was 941 and this sets the bar for those aspiring to greatness in future years.  Previous winner Dave, G3TBK, had to make do with second place with Tim, G4ARI, achieving a comfortable third.

The first qualifying event in 2024 (and indeed the first HF event in the New Year) is the AFS 80m-40m CW contest on Saturday 7th January starting at 1300 UTC.

With every good wish for the holiday season and, on behalf of the adjudication team, many thanks for your participation throughout 2023.
