5th Backpackers Contest 2013

Weather conditions varied depending on location, with reports ranging from ‘warm and sunny’ to tales of heavy showers and static rain.

There were more Backpackers (3B) than Hilltoppers (10H) this year - the opposite of last year.

The Backpackers (3B) section was won by Andrew Vare, G4XZL/P, who’s move to IO80 paid off for this session.   Steve Marsh, G4TCU/P, was runner-up.

Paul Selwood, G8BGV/P, was the clear winner in the Hilltoppers (10H) section.   Tony Judge, G1ARU/P, was in second place.
