RSGB Contest Results 1st 1.8MHz Contest 2018

Entry levels this year were higher than 2017 with 93 logs received this year. Although UK entrant numbers were the same as last year there was a jump in the Non-UK sections.

The Dutch PACC contest again helped boost the QSO numbers, though some stations in that contest appear to have been inconsistent with the exchanges they sent to UK stations. Certainly keeps everyone on their toes.

There was some DX to be had in the form of JA, TZ, VK6 and W stations, but only in small quantities.

Congratulations to GM4ZUK who wins the Somerset Trophy for being the leading station in the UK unassisted or assisted sections. Also to G4PIQ for leading station in the UK assisted section. EI5KF and EI5DI take the leading positions in the overseas assisted and non-assisted sections respectively.

Entries that declared more than 400W power have been listed in the results but have not been awarded certificates.
