Many thanks for check logs received from PA7WW, G3RXQ, G4DSP, GM3DR and M0RPK
1st 40m QSO Party June 2019
The results for the 1st 40m QSO Party are presented below. Forty-six logs were submitted for the first running of this QSO party.
In the UK&CD sections, three logs were received from Foundation licensees, three logs from Intermediate licensees, thirty-two logs from Full licensees. In the Non-UK section, three logs were received. Five checklogs were also submitted. Thank you to every one who submitted a log. 227 stations who were active during this QSO party did not submit a log.
Thank you to Chris GM3WOJ who operated the bonus station GM3DR to make 138 contacts.
Band conditions were variously reported as `noisy' with deep QSB and limited short skip making inter-G contacts difficult to complete. However, overall the comments indicate that some entrants regarded this QSO party was 'a good introduction to contesting'.
Several stations submitted logs with QSO times in BST. Please make sure your QSO times are recorded in UTC.
The 2nd 40m QSO Party of 2019 starts at 1100 local time (1000 UTC) on Saturday July 20th.
