RSGB Contest Results Low Power Contest 2013

This year saw around the same number of competitors compared to 2012, though more chose to operate from home in the 10W category, has there just been too much good weather this year? Just over 2000 QSO's took place in the event, with a greater proportion on 80m this year as conditions on 40m dropped off later in the event (see graphical statistical overview).

With more variety in the information exchanged  this contest often picks up more logging errors than normal, reports are not always 599! With a little more attention to detail an operator could avoid the loss of points due to inaccurate logging.

Congratulations to G3TBK,  G3RIR/P, G3SXW, G4ARI/P for winning the 10W Fixed / Portable and 3W Fixed / Portable, who win the 1930 Committee Cup,  Houston-Fergus Trophy, HFCC Trophy and Southgate Trophy respectively.
