This year's total of 68 logs submitted was the highest for the last two decades, for comparison the previous peak was in 2011 with 61 entries, the first year this contest changed mode from CW to SSB. Was this a product of the current COVID-19 restrictions? Propagation appeared to be good but with QRM and high levels of noise reported, this may explain the mean error rate of 2.7 per log, almost doubled from last year. There were 193 different stations appearing in the logs with 36 from outside the UK&CD. Most non-entrants did not understand the concept of rotating locators and sent their own locator for every contact, fortunately this still resulted in a good mix of different locators being passed around. One useful side effect of this is that it does make a locator logged incorrectly from a non-entrant easy to detect during adjudication.

The leading station this year is Allan GM4ZUK closely followed by Andrew M0NKR (G1A) in second place and Tim G4ARI in third. The winner of the Verulam Silver Jubilee Trophy for the highest placed most accurate log is Graham G4FNL. There were only ten other error-free logs from 2E0HTM, G0ATR, G0ORE, G0ORY, G0TZZ, G4DBW, G8VPE, M0NMA, M1DDD and PG7V. There were five non-UK entries this year with certificates awarded to Jan PG7V and Henk PA7WW.
