RSGB Contest Results RoLo SSB 2021

After last year's bumper entry of 68 logs, this year's total of 49 was more in line with the historical support for this contest. It was good to see at least two new entrants, one of whom was entering a contest for the first time. Propagation appeared to be variable depending on location, certainly not good for non-UK&CD participants with just five in the results table and only 15 others appearing in the submitted logs, all from near Eu. There were a further 77 UK&CD callsigns in the logs of which 14 made ten or more contacts but did not submit an entry. Overall error rate was low with the mean number per log at 1.3. There were a few contacts disallowed for being outside the permitted frequency range, please note that only the band segments 3600 to 3650kHz and 3700 to 3775kHz are allowed in this contest.

Way out in front this year is Graham G4FNL with a total of 85 QSOs. Graham also had no errors in his log so he is also awarded the Verulam Silver Jubilee Trophy for the highest scoring most accurate log. Leading the following pack to take second place is Nick G4FAL with Dave G3TBK in third. The leading non-UK score is from Henri PA4HM with Joe EI7GY just behind to take second place non-UK. All receive certificates. In addition to Graham's, there were 13 other error-free logs from G1GNQ, G3ZBU, G4ARI, G4CZB, G4PVM, G6GLP, G8X, G8XTJ, I2RBR, M0DCG, M0SAR, M0NKR and S5/M0MPM.
