RSGB Contest Special Rules 2015

1. Eligible Entrants:
(a) Each entering club must be affiliated to the RSGB.
(b) Operators must be members of the club they represent. Operators are not required to be a members of the RSGB.
(c) All stations representing a club must be located within a radius of 50 miles of the normal meeting-place of the club. Where a club has branches, eg RNARS, it may define separate branch meeting-places, and the team(s) entered by each branch will be considered to be entirely separate from those entered by other branches, except in respect of affiliation.
(d) Each station may be single or multioperator, but no station or operator may represent more than one affiliated club or branch.

2. Teams:
Teams compsist of up to four stations for both the CW and SSB sections. Clubs may enter as many teams as they wish. The teams will be designated (for example) Anytown Radio Society Team A, Anytown Radio Society B, and so on. The adjudication software will allocate the four highest scoring stations to "Team A", the second highest scoring to "Team B", etc.

3. Contacts:
In the CW section, the section around 3580kHz is reserved for slower-speed contacts. It is intended that operators less experienced in CW and contest techniques should be able to make contacts here in a more relaxed environment. Experienced contesters operating around this frequency are required to keep their speed down.
