2.3GHz Trophy Contest

This contest, together with the sister 23cm Trophy Contest, are the final two events in the VHF Championship. The frequencies involved mean that they are usually quiet events and 2021 was no exception.

There were 28 active stations (42 in 2020) and 17 squares worked (19 in 2020).  There were 13 entries (19 in 2020).  Many stations noting poor conditions levels of activity.   By comparison the last 2.3GHz UKAC attracted 32 entries.  Are there any ways to make this contest more attractive to entrants ?  Answers to VHFCC please.

ODX was provided by DH1NAX in a QSO with G3XDY at 750km (1km less than last years ODX).

This event is partly co-ordinated with a IARU Region 1 contest and the R1 logs were obtained and were used to assist with adjudication.

• John G3SQQ who was Leading station using 25w or less into a single antenna
