Many thanks for check logs received from G0LGS, G0UUU/P, G2AA and G8MWU
A glorious weekend rewarded all those who ventured out with some good activity reflected in really good scores all round.
Good activity was noted from the UK which is in line with the comments from the 24 hour 2m contest running until an hour before the end of the Backpackers.
A few comments regarding the 'battery running out' is likely due to the increased power levels allowed this year which brings the contest rules in line with the abilities of most modern radios.
Fingers crossed for similarly good weather for the 2nd contest in June which is of course in the middle of the Sporadic E season.
