1st Backpackers Contest

The weather again split the country, half had heavy rain and wind while others enjoyed the sun.

Conditions followed the weather from poor to average with QSB affecting many.

Congratulations to all the certificate winners:

5B Section: 1st Place to Steve (G1YBB) as GW1YBB/P, 2nd Place to Simon GW8OVZ/P and Leading Foundation station to Stuart M7STJ. Special mention to Tommy M7OMY/P as Leading under 18 entrant.

25H Section: 1st Place to Paul (G3YDY) operating as G8BGV/P, 2nd Place to Steve G0EAK/P, Leading Intermediate station to Darrell 2E0VCC and Leading Foundation station to Dean M7CBI.
