RSGB Contest Results 3rd 144MHz Backpackers 2021

3rd Backpackers Contest

Most stations enjoyed variable weather, from lighting storms and heavy rain to brilliant sunshine. Activity varied by area, and as this event co-insides with VHF NFD, additional activity was present.

Congratulations to all the certificate winners:

5B Section: 1st Place once again goes to GW1YBB/P operated by Steve G1YYB, 2nd Place to G4XZL/P operated by Andrew G4XZL, Leading Intermediate station goes to new member 2W1PJE/P operated by Peter 2W1PJE.

25H Section: First and Second place swapped around from the last event, so 1st Place goes to G8BVG/P operated by Paul G8BVG (aka G3YDY), and 2nd Place to 2E0VCC/P operated by Darrell 2E0VCC. Leading Foundation station goes to another new member M7CBI/P, operated by Dean M7CBI.
