RSGB Contest Results 5th 144MHz Backpackers 2021

5th Backpackers Contest

The weather by all counts was warm and sunny across the whole country with conditions north/south being excellent. The 5 watt Backpackers were working into Northern Spain, over 1000 Kms.

Can I respectfully remind entrants to check the rules prior to next year's event, esp. related to antenna height.

Congratulations to all the certificate winners:

5B Section: 1st Place to Simon GW8OVZ, 2nd Place to Andrew G4XZL and leading Intermediate station to Paul 2E0TXT.

25H Section: 1st Place and leading Intermediate station goes to Darrell 2E0VCC, 2nd Place to John G0JLF and leading Foundation station to Dean M7CBI.

Hope to see and hear you all in 2022.
