    RSGB RoPoCo Contests 2015

    These contests are a real test of your operating skills: Chinese whispers using Rotating Post codes!
     
      1. KEY INFORMATION
     
    (a) General RoPoCo stands for ROtating POst COdes, so called because the contest exchage depends on that received in the previous QSO, and the exchanges consists of entrants' postcodes. There are two of these short contests per year: SSB in April, and CW in August.
    (b) RoPoCo 1 -- SSB Date: 5th April 2015 (the first Sunday in April) Time: 19:00 - 20:30 UTC
    Band: 3600-3650kHz & 3700-3775kHz only. Note: The lowest "carrier" (dial) frequency to be used which lies within the specified sub-bands is 3602kHz for 3600-3650kHz, and 3702kHz for 3700-3775kHz
     
    (c) RoPoCo 2 -- CW
     
    Date: 2nd August 2015 (the first Sunday in August) Time: 07:00 - 08:30 UTC
    Band: 3520-3560kHz only
    (d) Exchange RS(T), then for the first contact, send the entrant's own postcode.
    For each subsequent contact, RS(T) plus the postcode received from the previous contact.
    (e) Power limit 100 watts
    (f) General Rules The HF General Rules apply to these contests
     
      2. ADDITIONAL RULES
     
    (a) Scoring 10 points for each contact with another UK station
    (b) Valid contacts Contacts with stations outside the UK do not score and must not appear in the contest log. If called by non-UK stations, entrants are advised to give a signal report, politely informing the calling station that this contest is for the UK only.
    (c) Contest Callsigns UK Special Contest Calls (SCC) are not permitted, even for entrants who hold a valid NoV from Ofcom
    (d) HF Championship Scores from single-operator entries to these contests contribute to the RSGB HF Championship
     
      3. ENTRIES
     
    (a) Method Entries must be submitted online or on paper, in accordance with the Entries section in the HF General Rules.
    (b) Format Online entries must be in Cabrillo format -- examples: SSB log, CW log
    (c) Entry Date No later than 16 days after the end of the contest
     
      4. AWARDS FOR THESE CONTESTS
     
    (a) RoPoCo 1 -- SSB The Verulam Silver Jubilee Trophy to the highest scoring entrant with the most accurate log
    (b) RoPoCo 2 -- CW The G3XTJ Memorial Trophy to the highest scoring entrant with the most accurate log
    (c) Aggregate scores The G5MY Trophy to the entrant with the highest aggregate score from both events
    (d) Certificates Certificates to the highest scoring entrants in each contest
