2.3GHz Trophy Contest
This contest, together with the sister 23cm Trophy Contest, are the final two events in the VHF Championship. The frequencies involved mean that they are usually quiet events and 2025 was no exception.
There were 17 entries (14 in 2024 and 18 in 2023).
In ODX was provided by DL3LAR in a QSO with G3XDY at 588km. For most 'Amy' was the problem, especially when coupled with poor radio conditions. 'Wasnt sure about a dish in the storm but threw ropes at it and was OK. Radio conditions worse than the weather! ' M1B, 'Activity and conditions poor, wind terrible! ' M3P.
This event is partly co-ordinated with a IARU Region 1 contest and the R1 logs were obtained and were used to assist with adjudication.
