RSGB Contest Results 80m CC CW 2023

v4.158 by G4CLA

80m CC CW July 2023 results:

In this the sixth and last 2023 80m CC CW leg the 80m band propagation was varied, with QSB and band noise reported by some entrants, but others reported good conditions.

Activity was still good at 188 logs received.

In the 100w assisted section M4T (M0BEW) was top,ahead of M5A (G3WVG).PC4H was again the leading non UK entrant.

In the 10w assisted section G3P (G3WPH) was tied top with G4ZFE .F6KRK (F4AFQ) was again the leading non UK entry.

In the 100w unassisted section M7W (G3TBK) again led with G5W (G3BJ) again second.DF4PD was again the leading non UK entrant.

In the 10w unassisted section G4PIQ was top again ahead of G4FNL.

A number of entrants commented that running this contest just after VHF Field day was unpopular,and hoped for change next year.
