September 2025 80m Autumn Series SSB contest

This was the first 80m Autumn Series SSB Contest for 2025. 162 logs were received from stations in eight countries (DL, EI, G, GM, GW, LA, PA and S5). The number of non-entering participants was 89.

Conditions were challenging during the contest with many stations reporting the band was very noisy with high levels of static.

Thank you to Chris GM3WOJ who activated the bonus station GM6XX. Chris made 147 QSOs.

Entrants are reminded that all contests in the 80m Autumn Series have a 'Le Mans' start. This means that entrants must not transmit during the two minutes immediately before the contest start time or use any other method to reserve a frequency.

Entrants are also reminded that all contest exchanges must be completed before the end of the contest.

The next 80m Autumn Series contests are the CW contest on Wednesday 10th September and the DATA contest on Thursday 25th September. The next Autumn Series SSB contest is on Thursday 23rd October.
