3^rd 80m CC Datamodes Contest 30^th April 2026

The 80m Datamodes CC season continues with 139 entries submitted. Conditions were generally reported as OK this month. Yet again, and despite my constant mentions, again there was evidence of folk being a little excited and overdriving the audio stages, or forgetting to turn off the compressor. This only loses QSOs not gains them.

So to the results with Clubs first. Here we see Norfolk ARC in the Local section, as last year, once again have mobilised their members and are setting what must be an unassailable lead early on leaving The fight is between Newbury and Bristol as they have swapped places with three excellent entries for April. This year the fight is definitively for the runners up spot. In the General section the Three A's have motored away with an impressive lead leaving De Montfort University ARC holding 2nd place whilst Echelford ARS are in 3rd place.

In the individual results wins were recorded for:-

G3G in the 100W-A Section

G4ZFE in the 10W-A Section

G4ARI in the 100W-U Section

G4PIQ in the 10W-U section.
