The RSGB 80/40m CW AFS Contest 2025

This contest was well supported again with 216 logs, slightly down on last year, and a good Non UK&CD entry of 29 logs. 80m was, as expected in this solar cycle, again in a poor condition till after 1500, but the 40m band conditions were reported as good throughout by many entrants. Many UK stations again worked continentals who were participating in various other contests, especially on 40m. Northern UK stations again did not fare so well this year.

The Individual scores have been divided into three power categories, plus non-UK entries.The highest scoring local club this year was Camb Hams A followed by Bristol CG A, and then Spalding & DARS A. The highest General Club entry was again Three A's A, who also win the Edgware Trophy for the highest club score. They were followed by DeMontfort U ARS A, then Three A's CG B

The first placed individual score  went to M4T ,M0BEW,  ,who wins the Marconi Trophy, followed by G4PIQ, and G4BUO, in the 1000 w section. In the other power sections, the leading 100W station was M1X (G0CKP), ahead of  M4J(G0DVJ) and GW5P (GW0EGH), The leading 10W station was M7R (G0TPH),  ahead of M5D (G4WQI) and  G3SWC.The leading non UK station was ON4EM, ahead of DF5EN and PA2A.The leading intermediate station was 2E0JLZ.

Certificates have again been awarded to the leading club stations, both General and Local, and to the leading 3 station, 2 station and a single station club teams.
