Many thanks for check logs received from G7RTI, GD6XX and YL3FW
3rd Autumn Series Data 2023
The third and final autumn series of three tests ran on November 6 th, with one hundred and forty two logs submitted and once more the entries were of a high level making the job of adjudication simple. This series features the Le Mans start and yet again a couple of stations thought they could get a head start and so have been penalised with a 5 point deduction. My thanks to Andy G4PIQ for providing me with the SDR recording so I could monitor for this infringement.
GW6XX was on the air once again this time operated by John Barber GW4SKA. John provided those much sought after 5 point QSOs, and so gains our thanks.
So to the results. In the 100W Assisted category G4ENZ took the top spot and so a clean sweep of 1st places in the section, whilst in the 100W Unassisted category M2A (G3ORY) came first. In the low power categories, G4A (G4TSH) took first place in the 10W Assisted and G0W (G0VDZ) topped the pile of 10W Unassisted entrants. Well done to each.
That concludes the 80m data modes contests for this year so all that remains is for me to thank all of you for taking part in the events and giving me such enjoyment throughout the year. I will take this opportunity of wishing you all a happy and joyous festive season and may 2024 bring happiness and good results in the 80m data contests (other contests are available ).
73 de Simone Wilson
80m Autumn Series Adjudicator.
