FT4 Hope QSO Party (11th Jan)

This was the last in the current series of the Hope QSO parties. The level of activity was up a small amount from 59 earlier in the month to 77 this time. Looking back at all the Hope FT4 events overall, activity was in the 70-80 range. It was a pleasure to see the same entrants throughout the series, as well as a handful of new stations making a foray into the digital modes. Band activity was, like the other sessions, centred around 80/40/20 with minimal activity on the other bands.

Few comments were received so it was difficult to get a gauge for feedback. However, the positives did out way the negatives.

There will be more FT4 contests during the year, almost one a month. We encourage those that 'had a go' in the Hope series will take part and enjoy the mode with future contests.
