2.3GHz Trophy Contest

This contest, together with the sister 23cm Trophy Contest, are the final two events in the VHF Championship. The frequencies involved mean that they are usually quiet events and 2023 was no exception.

As with the 23cm Trophy Contest VHFCC added 500point bonus for each large grid square worked.  This change makes no obvious difference to the results.  Has this change been helpful ?  Answers to VHFCC please.

There were 18 entries (14 in 2022 and 13 in 2021).  The good conditions for the 23cm Trophy were less noticeable for this contest but some good dx was worked.

In Open ODX was provided by F1DDD in a QSO with M1CRO/P at 740km and in Single Operator Fixed it was DM5D's QSO with G3XDY at 836km (last years ODX was 614km and 632km respectively).

This event is partly co-ordinated with a IARU Region 1 contest and the R1 logs were obtained and were used to assist with adjudication.
