RSGB Contest Results 23/13cms Trophy 2015
v4.158 by G4CLA

1.2 GHZ and 2.3 GHz Trophy 2015

There was a welcome increase in participation this year, with a corresponding increase in the QSO and scores achieved.  Entrants commented on variable conditions, with some good openings on the days before the contest, but dwindling once the contest had started!  Still, there was continental activity, with one or two OZs on the air to help with the points totals.

Congratulations go to the trophy and certificate winners.  In particular, John G3XDY managed to win both the VHF Contest Committee Cup and the G6ZR Memorial Trophy, with the best score on both bands in the SF Section.  The Colchester Radio Amateurs were the highest-scoring club, operating in the O Section from their usual site at Walton on the Naze - clearly a good place for continental QSOs.  South Birmingham Radio Society also did well, with a win on 2.3 GHz and a close second on 1.2 GHz.

Thanks to all who took part.
