1.3GHz Trophy Contest
This contest, together with the sister 13cm Trophy Contest, form the final two events in the VHF Championship. The frequencies involved mean that they are usually quiet events and 2026 was no exception.
There were 44 entries (40 in 2025).
ODX in the Open Section was the G3M QSO with DM5D QSO at 825km and in SF the G3XDY with DM5D QSO at 836 km, which is in line with ODX in 2025.
Conditions were reported to be average though the WX was good. A number of stations reported poor activity. G7L (G7LRQ) 'Average conditions, Poor activity and most meeps unanswered. Long periods without any contacts'. G0EAK/P 'Poor condx with deep slow qsb and low activity AGAIN!! '.
This event is partly co-ordinated with a IARU Region 1 contest and the R1 logs were obtained and were used to assist with adjudication.
