2nd Backpackers Contest 2025

18 stations submitted entries, two more than last month.

Whilst the weather was generally reported as good, the same could not be said of the propagation with just 8 stations from 4 DXCCs (DL, EI, ON and PA) outside of the UK appearing in the logs

Whilst last year's winner of the 5B section, Steve GW1YBB/P triumphed once more, there was, yet again, a 'new' callsign at the top of the 25H table in the form of G1LAD/P, Leyland & District Amateur Radio Club.

Congratulations to all the certificate winners, and I hope to see and hear you all for the 3rd event in the series on Sunday July 6 commencing at 1100 UTC.
