RSGB Contest Results 3rd 144MHz Backpackers 2024
v4.149 by G4CLA

3rd Backpackers Contest 2024

'Nothing to write home about' probably best sums up this year's 3rd outing of the Backpackers Contest, with low participation and activity, despite the concurrent VHF NFD. Just 14 logs were received including one checklog, and no ODX greater than 700 kms was recorded.

With two more contests to go, Steve GW1YBB/P (Backpackers) and Wayne, MW0LKX/P (Hilltoppers) can treat these as victory laps if they participate but the other podium places in both sections are still very much up for grabs.

Congratulations to all the certificate winners and here's hoping for better on the next outing on Saturday afternoon August 3rd commencing at 1400 UTC.
